Cher Real Estate started a learning platform called Nest Navigate, focused on helping new home buyers educate themselves.
The project began at Cher Real Estate as a gamified learning platform designed to simplify real estate education by teaching users key terms, processes, and decision-making through interactive progression.
Originally built under the Cher brand with guidance from founder Eric Chebil, the initiative aimed to make home purchasing more accessible through structured learning.
After some discussion the team agreed on a rebrand into Nest Navigate, which gave us an opportunity to rebuild its identity and expand its creative direction.
Developed in WordPress using Elementor, LifterLMS, and GamiPress, the platform combined structured learning modules with gamification to improve engagement and retention.
My role focused on translating design into development, implementing custom assets, and building the splash page experience, helping shape the transition from concept to a fully realized learning ecosystem.
Implementing Nest Navigate from Cher, to Nest, from Figma, to WordPress, was a process to say the least.
First our team developed directly beside the design teams. We all sat in on the same meetings, with the CEO and project manager.
Together we decided on using two plugins to complement Elementor.
LifterLMS — a lightweight learning module system with a simple interface and the ability to create custom quizzes, exams, learning modules, courses, and more.
GamiPress — a gamification plugin used to add micro-interactions to the application in a way that boosts interactivity, retention, and creates a more enjoyable user experience.
The official Web app is up and helping new home buyers build sound minds and find home every single day.
