Ideation & Design

The Consortium was a role i recieved through recomendation of my program coordinator , they had no website prior to this one and had a big mission:"To cultivate community partnerships and build relationships between researchers and community stakeholders." This group is determined to spread awareness to the reality of death dying and bereavement aswell as resources , research, and articles on the topic. My job was simple, how can i displa these resources, articles, research papers, etc in a classy, sensable and effecient way.
These methods were used for my thought process:

  • Competitor Analysis
  • A/B Testing

  • After meeting with the team and determining my goals, i got to work.

    Implementation & Development

For implementation squarespace was already chosen by Ms Bagasra, the team thought it would be the easiest way to get a fast website up that could be updated at any time. I built a few mockups on figma that were easilly transferable on a Drag and Drop platform like Squarepspace, a meeting took place where i presented several different color scheemes, Ui patterns, and layouts, and the site up currently was chosen by the team .

    Final Product

Unfortunately, DDBRC is still new, and so a lot of assets and research is yet to be done. However, Ms. Bagasra made it clear that she wanted the space to remain on the site so that she could remember to add it as time goes on. So if you look on the site, you will see sections that say "Coming Soon." I have informed Ms. Bagasra that even though my contract is up, I believe in what the consortium is doing and will finish the site for free the second she has everything.
